    Responsibilities

    We are seeking an Implementation Technician that will help us support our RTLS system within the local hospital. This person will be able to support the tagging efforts by walking within the hospital while locating pumps, wheelchairs and beds throughout the facility. The Implementation Technician might need to use electronic equipment to locate the assets and reprogram the tags while servicing the tags. This position will support all RTLS troubleshooting efforts such as battery replacement, swapping out infrastructure, as well as supporting any Environmental Monitoring sensors.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Tag maintenance, tag swapping, infrastructure maintenance, and battery swapping.
    • Responsible for all maintenance and monitoring of alerts
    • Installing new RTLS infrastructure and validating the system through CenTrak software application.
    • Ability to understand CenTrak designs on where devices are located within the hospital.
    • Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques.
    • Documentation service an installation actions by completing forms & reports

     

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Associate’s Degree in Telecommunications/Networking/Electronics and/or 2-3+ years of work experience in RTLS Networking Systems.
    • Preferred: Networking/Telecommunications experience within Healthcare Industry but it’s not required.


    Core Competencies:

    • Strong networking background
    • Experience with IR, Wireless, and Network Protocols 
    • Ability to utilize different hardware and software tools (I.E. Proficient in Microsoft Excel)
    • Candidates must be self-starters with the ability to work independently.
    • Candidates must be able to provide their own transportation to hospitals and drive between facilities as needed.
    • Must be comfortable working in a hospital (including patient rooms).
    • Must be able to physically walk around the hospital throughout the day.
    • Candidates must be able to work normal business hours Monday-Friday. Driven to meet or exceed consumer expectations with the exception of being flexible on working outside normal business hours.
    • Able to interpret and disseminate information
    • Able to prepare basic reports and use of the appropriate mode of communication.
    • Comfortable with technology and the use of standard office programs and networks.
