Summary:

 

CenTrak is looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to develop products by identifying potential products, conducting market research, generating product requirements, developing marketing strategies and time-integrated plans for product introduction that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

  • Determines customers' needs and translates in product or solution requirements.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Obtains product market share by working with the VP of Sales to develop product sales strategies.
  • Provide product expert knowledge to support other functional units in the company.
  • Interface and collaborate with other functional groups (Sales, PMO, Field Services, Engineering, Supply Chain and Marketing).
  • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts.
  • Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing business case analyses; establishing product roadmap.
  • Introduces and markets new products through Product Commercialization/Launch Process.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending market tradeshows; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Maintain sustaining issues tracking with launched products, to support minimal field and customer impact.

 

Qualifications

 

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or business discipline (combined discipline degrees preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Must have 6-8 years progressive environmental monitoring device experience.
  • Must have environment monitoring market and regulatory knowledge.

Foundational Skills & Core Competencies:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Must be able to work in the absence of complete information and remain able to make timely, high quality decisions.
  • Must have a strong ability to work in a team environment while possessing the ability to remain focused when working alone on a project.
  • Demonstrated experience in product/solution planning.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to actively engage customers to devise products, provide solution planning and issue resolution as the subject matter expert.
