    Responsibilities

    CenTrak is seeking an Implementation Engineer to join its ever-expanding team of onsite Implementation Engineers. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of hardware functionality and some software/networking functionality to troubleshoot problems via email, telephone and onsite visits while ensuring customer requests are followed up on in a timely and professional manner. The quality of the Project Implementations is held to the highest of standards as CenTrak’s infrastructure is running processes in top healthcare institutions that require a high degree of quality 24/7. The position is multidisciplinary in nature and travel (~75%) to customers’ premises is often required. This role reports directly to the Director of Field Service Engineering.

     

    • Provide On-Site Installation, Validation and Testing of both RTLS and Environmental Monitoring systems
    • Provide multi-level support and troubleshooting to CenTrak customers
    • Communicate customer needs to software and hardware designers
    • Ability to work under pressure and independently with a significant attention to detail
    • Ability to work on real-time location infrastructure via CAD drawings to ensure the installations are consistent to where the hardware is shown on maps
    • Test systems within that space to ensure proper system functionality
    • Maintain rapport with customers by examining concerns, identifying solutions and suggesting improved methods and techniques
    • Document service of installation and completion of standard/non-standard action items in SalesForce

     

    Qualifications

    • Associate’s Degree in Engineering/Telecommunications/Networking/Electronics and/or 3-5 years of work experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Telecommunications/Networking/Electronics and/or 2-3 years of work experience
    • Networking and/or Engineering experience within Healthcare Industry preferred
    • Experience working with wireless (RF) and networking systems preferred
    • Working knowledge of Ethernet and Internet protocols
    • System-level and hardware debugging skills
    • Superb support of our customers to include interpersonal communication skills – no compromises!
    • Understand our business and its associated jargon to include our products/services and how they effectuate change
    • Driven to meet or exceed consumer expectations with the exception of being flexible on working outside normal business hours
